We Engage would like to thank everyone who followed, donated and supported We Engage and the Pink House Defenders. We are eternally grateful to you; your support made We Engage possible.
However, We Engage is officially going on “permanent hiatus” and closing the organization as a 501c3.
Dr. Coleman Boyd, a long-time clinic harasser at the Pink House, and five other anti-abortion extremists were convicted on January 30, 2024 in Nashville, TN of federal civil rights conspiracy charges. Boyd is now a convicted felon.
On November 13, the documentary No One Asked You premiered at the DOC NYC Festival in New York, NY. The film followed Lizz Winstead, co-founder of the Daily Show and founder of Lady Part Justice League/Abortion Access Front over seven years to document her work in supporting abortion access for all…Along the way, she met lots of people doing work to keep abortion accessible and they are a part of this wonderful film. The Pink House Defenders, along with many other amazing folks, were featured in No One Asked You.
It’s been a little over a year since the Dobbs ruling closed Jackson Women’s Health Organization aka “the Pink House.” We Engage was started by the Pink House clinic defenders in 2019 with the mission of assisting patients, encouraging responsible engagement against anti-abortion zealots wherever they are, and showing people what clinic patients must suffer getting abortion care in America.
We Engage and the Pink House Defenders have focused on OSA often because OSA members were regulars on the sidewalks harassing patients at Jackson Women’s Health Organization, aka the Pink House.
Also, OSA is the old “Operation Rescue”; look them up, their history is horrible…
Well, it went fast y’all. Last week was the Operation Save America’s (OSA) National Event – and We Engage’s Whoa Man Summer Camp!
We Engage got out in Atlanta with our friends and made sure OSA knew we were there and let everyone else around know who they were and why they suck. And they DO suck…
Tomorrow, all the biggest anti-abortion ghouls, oops, groups, will be celebrating the first anniversary of the Dobbs decision at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC. Groups like LiveAction, Students for Life, the Alliance Defending Freedom – the foot soldiers of the patriarchy. Let that sink in…they are celebrating at the LINCOLN MEMORIAL.
Today the North Carolina General Assembly overrode Gov. Roy Cooper's veto of a 12-week abortion ban. This unjust law will go into effect on Friday, July 1st. Think for a minute. The irony of that law is taking effect on the long July 4th weekend. Happy fucking Independence Day y'all!
"Choices matter"..."well informed choice"...this from people who worked everyday to take away choices from people. We are coming up on 9 months since the #Dobbs decision. The Cline Center, a crisis pregnancy center across from what was the Pink House in Jackson, MS, uses these signs now to get people in so they can lie to them about "pill reversal" and push their religion.
Only a few days after the Operation Save America (OSA) event in South Carolina, the city of Wichita, Kansas was invaded by an anti-abortion group from Oklahoma called Free The States, aka Abolitionists Rising…
Last week, Operation Save America (OSA), formerly Operation Rescue, held their annual Leadership Conference in Greenville SC. On the last day of the meeting, OSA followers and friends traveled to the state capital, Columbia, SC to have a rally in support of House Bill 3549, “South Carolina Prenatal Equal Protection Act Of 2023.” And We Engage was there…
So here we are in Greenville South Carolina, y’all. Some of the Pink House Defenders are here along with other pro abortion groups from across the country. Why are we in Greenville?
Operation Save America (OSA) is here for their annual Leadership Conference. What happens at an OSA Leadership Conference? Well, the short version is: A large group of Christian Nationalists invade the city and harass patients at the only abortion clinic in town.
Hey! Y’all want to hear a ninja turtle story? But not a good one though…a bad ninja turtle story.
This weekend Jackson MS got a visit from Jeff Durbin. So who’s Jeff Durbin? Jeff is the "lead pastor" of Apologia Church in Tempe, AZ, and founder of “End Abortion Now”, an extreme anti-abortion org. He also played one of the Ninja Turtles in one of their movies.
