Today the North Carolina General Assembly overrode Gov. Roy Cooper's veto of a 12-week abortion ban. This unjust law will go into effect on Friday, July 1st. Think for a minute. The irony of that law is taking effect on the long July 4th weekend. Happy fucking Independence Day y'all!

The "dominoes”, the “safe states”, are falling fast y’all. Is YOUR state next? There are NO safe states. Antis will not stop until they get a national ban. What more can we do to stop this constant rolling back of our rights? We can’t keep on doing the same things and expecting a better, different result.

It’s time to figure it out y’all. For real.

BUT, until it changes…as of July 1st, ABORTION IS LEGAL UP TO 12 WEEKS IN NORTH CAROLINA.

This didn’t happen overnight y’all, even though it seems that way. We Engage was there, in Charlotte, NC in 2019 to support clinics in the face of antis’ harassment and try to get the message out about what was going on. On that particular weekend, around 1000 protesters that are now LoveLife came to one of the clinics there. See other posts for LoveLife low down.
