Through the years, the Pink House Defenders and We Engage have been featured in the media - outlets including video, print, social, and podcasts. We Engage works to raise public awareness about challenges facing people seeking abortion care. We Engage believes it is important we tell about the realities about our volunteer work defending patients and the clinic, the harassment of patients and obstacles created by anti-abortion objectors and the laws they work to pass.

In October 2021, before the U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, Devin Dwyer and ABC News visited the clinic to talk about what the possibility of overturning Roe means in Mississippi and beyond.

In June 2021, Bracey Harris with NBC News did a profile of Pink House Defender volunteer Asia Brown and her work escorting patients at Jackson Women’s Health Organization aka “The Pink House.”

We Engage has made gains in raising the public’s awareness by using Tik Tok to show the Pinkhouse Defenders and the antis on the sidewalks, usually making light of things the best we can with a touch of humor where we can find it. Elle magazine did an article discussing the use of Tik Tok by clinic defenders like us and our friends at Charlotte for Choice.
